James Dick Construction Limited has begun an Environmental Assessment under Ontario Regulation 539/21 and the Environmental Assessment Act to assess the establishment and operation of a quarry, and associated activities including the blasting, processing, recycling, and shipping of aggregate materials.
This notice is to advise that the first Public Information Meeting of three is being held virtually on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The purpose of the first Public Information Meeting is to introduce the project, provide an overview of the Environmental Assessment process, and to seek feedback on the draft criteria and indicators to evaluate the effects of the project and the alternative methods of carrying out the project on the environment.
Written input received by January 17th, 2024 will be reflected in the criteria and indicators package provided to the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks. Input can be provided on the project website www.rrrqea.ca/pim1, by email to rrrqea@jamesdick.com, or by mail to:
