
Public Information Meeting #2
The second Public Information Meeting (PIM) of three is being held virtually on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025 from 6:30 to 8:30pm. The purpose of the second Public Information Meeting is to present and receive input on the draft comprehensive work plan and scope for technical studies that will be prepared to evaluate the effects of the project and the alternative methods of carrying out the project on the environment.

The comprehensive work plan to be discussed at the Public Information Meeting can be found here within the EA Documents folder. Hard copies are available for viewing at the Town of Milton (150 Mary Street, Milton) and Region of Halton (1151 Bronte Road, Oakville) municipal buildings.
At the Public Information Meeting, a presentation will be followed by questions answered live. Comments and questions can be typed into the Q & A and will be read aloud by the Facilitator to be responded to by the Project Consultants. A video of the Public Information Meeting presentation will be available on this webpage after November 26. Comments and questions received will be included in the Facilitators Feedback Report.
Viewing Room
For individuals who are unable to participate in virtual meetings from home, JCDL is providing a viewing room. The viewing room will feature a live broadcast of the virtual meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m., equipped with a screen, audio system, and a staff member available to assist participants by relaying typed questions to the online meeting. Attendance at the viewing room is limited to pre-registered individuals who cannot access the meeting virtually; walk-ins will not be permitted as seating is reserved. To secure a place, please call Sue Cumming, Public Engagement Facilitator at 416 992-6607 before 5 p.m. on November 18, 2025. JDCL will confirm the time and location with those registered for the viewing room.
Please be advised that this room is for viewing purposes only. In-person questions will not be accommodated, as experts will attend remotely via the virtual platform.
Commenting Period
Additional written input received by December 19th, 2025, will also be reflected in the comprehensive work plan package provided to the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks for approval.
